My skin under my nail became more pushed back. How do I fix/heal it?

I have no idea what really happened to my nail- but it does make me a bit angry that I kept all my nails very clean and my wedding finger became a bit weird. I really don't know how to describe it, but I took pictures just in case

BTW- the pictures arent gross or anything at all- i promise! haha, it's just that the skin looks pushed back and i didn't even touch it so i'll somewhat ';heal'; but it hasn't =(

Chances are that your nail just caught on something and got pulled up a little, or something slipped between your nail and finger.

Keeping a bandaid on it to keep pressure on the nail might help it reconnect. If not, you might just have to wait for it to grow out. However, I recently had a nail get partially separated like that, and it reconnected within a day or two on its own. You haven't said how long it's been this way, but it might be a sign that something else is wrong.

Some other possible causes are fungal infection and vitamin deficiency. Since you keep your nails very clean, it's probably not the former. Start taking a daily multivitamin if you don't already, and eat a wide variety of foods.
